I've been skating my whole life, first as a pro on a regular board, then on the boards I started building myself. ONSRA grew out of exactly that: I wanted electric skateboards that ride like a real skateboard and survive real life. In this post I go through every board we currently sell, one by one. Fair warning: I'm the founder, so I'm not neutral. What I can promise is that every spec and every price here comes straight from our own product pages, and where something isn't published yet, I say so instead of making it up.

What ONSRA stands for (in my own words)
Before we get into the boards, a few things that matter to me more than any top-speed number:
- We test in the rain. As far as I know, no other brand tests its boards in the rain like we do. We take them out in wet, ugly Swiss weather on purpose, because that's where riders actually use them. The enclosures on our current boards are rated IP65 and sealed with an O-ring.
- The full range. From a flight-safe mini board to a 1036 Wh all-terrain monster, ONSRA covers the whole spectrum of electric skateboards: travel, street, carving and off-road.
- Really high quality. I don't release a board I wouldn't ride every day myself.
- Built to last. Our boards last a long time because we use CNC-machined parts and high-quality components, like the CNC channel trucks on the VELAR and Samsung 50S cells in the Challenger and VELAR batteries.
- Four-year warranty, worldwide. Our CNC'd trucks and parts are covered for four years, wherever you ride. Motors, deck, enclosure, ESC, remote and charger get two years, the battery one year. The details are on our warranty page; it applies to boards bought directly from ONSRA.
- Warranty handling and service. We're known for handling warranty cases quickly and fairly. Customer service isn't a cost centre for us, it's the product.
- You can reach me. If a customer has a problem, I personally reach out. You can even call: +41 78 223 99 52 (WhatsApp works best), or use the ONSRA contact page.
One honest note on water: rain-tested doesn't mean submarine. Riding through deep water is not covered by the warranty, so dry the board after a wet ride and keep it out of puddles that go over the wheels.

ZENO – the travel board

The ZENO is our smallest board and the one I grab when I'm travelling. It packs stealthy hub motors and a 14S system into a light fiberglass-and-wood kicktail deck. The key detail is the 99 Wh swappable battery: that's the flight-safe option, so the board can come with you on trips. If you want more riding per day, the second version ships with two 99 Wh packs.
Key specs
| Spec | ZENO |
|---|---|
| Price | USD 990 (99 Wh Flight Safe) / USD 1,149 (99 Wh + 99 Wh) |
| Motors | Hub motors |
| System | 14S |
| Battery | 99 Wh, swappable, travel-safe option |
| Deck | Fiberglass and wood, kicktail |

Who it's for
Commuters who carry their board onto trains, and anyone who wants to take an electric skateboard on a plane. Also for skaters who want a kicktail they can actually pop.
Pros and cons
- + Flight-safe 99 Wh battery option
- + Swappable battery, two-pack version available
- + Hub motors keep the look clean and quiet
- + Lowest entry price in the ONSRA range
- – 99 Wh per pack is much smaller than the 432 Wh of the Challenger: that's the trade-off for travel
- – Full spec sheet not yet published on the product page
Challenger 2.0 – kicktail, Street or All-Terrain

The Challenger is the board for people who come from real skateboarding. A 90 cm kicktail deck, TKP trucks that love to carve, a 432 Wh Samsung 50S battery and two 5048 belt motors. The Street version rolls on our 100 mm Tarmax wheels and at 9.9 kg it's the lightest board with a full published spec sheet in our line-up. The AT version runs 150 mm pneumatic HOTA wheels for gravel and trails. Both are currently on preorder for October.

VELAR 2.0 Gear Drive – our all-terrain flagship

The VELAR is what happens when you stop compromising. A low-flex carbon deck, ONSRA CNC channel trucks, two 3500 W motors and a 1036 Wh Samsung 50S battery. The shape lets you switch between street and all-terrain wheels, so it's really two boards in one. On 200 mm AT wheels you get up to 65 km range and 65 km/h. Braking and acceleration are adjustable from 10 to 100 %, which makes it surprisingly friendly when you dial it down.
VELAR 2.0 S – with suspension trucks

The VELAR 2.0 S adds suspension trucks on top of the VELAR platform for even smoother rides off-road. Same 1036 Wh battery and motors, 62 km/h standard and up to 70 km/h depending on setup.
